This project, located in the Cheshire village of Pickmere for a private Client who wanted to extend and reconfigure their home to create additional living space and a master bedroom suite at first floor. The existing building is a converted, former farm-building so a sensitive approach was required to the design and selection of materials so as not to dominate the existing dwelling. Feature glazing to the living space links the house with the garden and takes advantage of the views across the countryside beyond the site boundary.
